For the rest of this tearm we are going to be looking at God in Religious Education. God is a healer and blesses us. God is also our creator.the Maori name for God is Te Atua, also God gives us Mana and Tapu.

Holiday recount

“Yay!”I cheered as my whole family went to watch Titanic in 3D in the Cinemas on Tuesday morning. It was so great to spend time together as a family. We all went because It was nearly school and also we all deserved it because of all the chores we did for our papa, nana and our aunties. 

We had so much fun watching Titanic but it was quite sad in the middle and at the end because the ship sunk down because it hit into an iceberg in the water. At the end it was sad because Jack and Rose (the main characters) nearly died. Jack died but Rose survived because Jack was in the water and Rose wasn’t. All of my family members cried when nearly everyone died. 

After the movie my family and I went to the games room and played some games together. As fast as we could we run to the train we went because we were gonna miss our train. Luckily it wasn’t our train it was going to manukau but we didn't want to go there we wanted to go to back to G.I to go home. 

When we were home it was my aunt's birthday party and she was turning 24 Lucky Her!. We had so much fun on Tuesday the 17th, it was awesome to have a great day with my family. I wish we could do that next year, my family rocks for life as well as Miss G and the whole school. I love my teacher, I wonder if anybody else loves their teachers in their school. I liked that day because it was the best day of my life. At the end of the day we said happy birthday to my auntie, then we all sang...

Orienteering

. You can only use these objects to go different places like run, walk and jogging.

. Orienteering is called the thinking game where people have to think a lot of times with their group.

. Anyone can play this game even if they have any broken arms or legs or even if they are using crutches. It is a simple game for people to play together.

Howick Historical Village

My favourite thing from our trip to Howick Historical Village was Trolley making. First we needed instructions from Mrs White. We used nuts, bolts, washers, pins, spanners, wood and metal.
We had a list of things to check off to make our trolleys. We had students very excited to be making trolleys, even though it is very hard to put together.

All the students found it difficult to make it. But lucky we had Mrs White and Miss G and also Andrew to help us make our trolleys. Mrs White was such a kind and lovely lady she liked helping others with their trolley making. There were holes and we had to put screws into the holes.

When we finished we had to take the trolley apart. Some of us thought we needed the screwdriver but we did have it for help in case. The teachers did help the students take it apart. Some of the bolts were missing as we were packing it up for the next class (Rm 5) to come in. Washers were very big and medium also small, they went all over the place.

After we finished off our trolley we took a picture with our group. Pentagons the highest level was the first one to finished and was the last to take it apart. We took a photo and then room 5 came in because it was their turn to make trolleys. We put the metal sticks in the bag as well as the wood and wheels. We put nuts, spanners, screwdrivers and pins in the green bag to pack away. Pentagons wanted to stay and play on the trolley but it was taken apart already. We said our sadly goodbye to our trolley we made as a group. We had such a great time working together as a group. Me and my group were proud of each other. I missed building it up, but lucky there is always time to go with our parents with your free ticket we got from our teacher. I really liked Howick Historical Village it was great and awesome I wish to go again someday.

The Four Cyberpets

There once were four cyberpets called Si the Octopus, Snuffles the Stingray, Curly the jelly- fish and Kaha the Turtle. They all lived in the deep blue sea with a lot of different sea creatures that were very friendly. They liked to play together with other sea creatures in the northern sea when they travelled together.

The games they liked to play most are Hide and Seek and Fish, fish, shark! The four best creatures liked to eat seaweed, sea bugs and mermaid tails. The four Cyber friends lived together in the octopus garden with their parents and families.
One day the four friends were watering their garden, suddenly they couldn’t see anything, only glass in the middle of nowhere. They were trapped because some fishermen were fishing by the cyberpets garden and they caught them. The four cyberpets called and called for help but no one could hear them because they were stuck inside glass.

They were so worried that they would never see their parents again. They didn't want that to happen to them. They tried to swim back but they were stuck. A little girl arrived she saw the four cyberpets and she asked the man “Can I please have those pets because I am so lonely and I have no friends and I am very sad. Please can I have those pets?” So the man said “Okay”. Sadly they never got to see their parents again. The four Cyberpets lived happily ever after together with the girl.
