Fraction Practice 1

Example : ⅔ of 18 = 12
3 x ? = 18 3 x 6 = 18
? x 2 = ? 6 x 2 = 12

1. ¼ of 36 = 9Y

2. ⅖ of 40 = 16Y

3. ⅗ of 20 = 12Y

Fraction - Week 5

A fraction is when you share a pie amoungst each other.

My favourite thing about Fractions is that I get to make a Whole half and quarters.

In a fraction there is a Denominator and a Numerator.

What I know about fractions is that you have to share it even to the person you are giving it too.

                                                             

Maths Reflection Week 2

Learning Intention: I learnt what is a fraction.
Numerator means - How many pieces I have.
Denominator means - How many people we are giving it too.
Denominator is the number on the bottom. Numerator is the number on top.


We also did Ordering Biggest to Smallest, Smallest to Biggest. In other ways of saying biggest to smallest it is Least or greastest. Also I learnt halves like, 1/2 one half, 1/4 one quater, 1/3 one third, 1/9 one ninth, 1/5 one fifth.

Maths Reflection WK1 - T3

Learning Intention: We are learning to round numbers to the nearest tens and Hundreds.

You have to get a number and find which is closer to the number it gives you. Example - if the number is less that 5 when looking for the nearest 10 you would go below the number, if it is above 5 you would go above the number.

                                This week our teacher told us to go on Studdyladder to learn our number facts.
                                We learnt how to do our number facts on studdyladder.I was very well on
                                  studdyladder so this is what I got I got a gold certificate for achieving 500 points.
