Narrative Writing

On a beautiful day Cathy planned on having a picnic through the forest with her best friend Julz. They wanted to spend time together because they did not see each other very often.  They only saw each other after school or before school. So they Packed their stuff and off they went through the forest.

While they were walking through the forest they heard a little sound coming from inside a spiky bush, Cathy and  Julz were very scared because they didn't know if it was a scary monster or something else. So Cathy and Julz played I dare you!, Cathy landed a scissors and Julz landed a paper. “Yes I win” screamed Cathy. So Julz went and looked what was in the bush, when she looked in the bush she screamed out OMG. Cathy saw a Little ginger kitten who was really hurt and he needed to go to the vet or the hospital. So they went to the vet to check what was wrong with the Kitten. They found out that the kittens paw was broken so they put some kind of cream on it and wrapped it with a cast and went and carried on with their picnic and lived happily ever after.

My Life In Room 6 :)

In room 6 it was very sad because we had to sadly swap teachers because Miss Leaupepe got a position at the National Library.

During school my life in room 6 is like I’m  in a zoo at different times like maths, writing, reading and even S.S.R.

I like having a pacific and sporty teacher named Mr Slade he likes to teach us a lot of Geometry  shapes and the mostly Fractions.

In room 6 everyone’s behaviour changes when we move on to each subject in class. Also when we have a reliever they don’t listen to instructions and then they give the teacher a hard time teaching us.

We like to learn new interesting facts about our countries India, Japan, Thailand also China. We like to look for it’s Climate, Geography, landmarks, culture, history and it’s population. I love to read lots and do plays with my reading group and my teacher Mr. Slade.

I Love to learn new things with my teacher Mr Slade and I wish to learn more interesting things.

Changing Teachers

Today the whole of Saint Pius X school had a whole school mass with father Iosevo our new priest to farewell room6’s coolest teacher: Miss Leaupepe. Miss Leaupepe’s last day is today because she has a new job at the National Library at Parnell, Miss Leaupepe has really been the coolest teacher this year but it is very sad that she is leaving us today but I wish her all the best for her new job. God Bless You Miss Leaupepe, Take Care

Our new teacher that will be replacing Miss Leaupepe is Mr. Slade. He is Miss Leaupepe’s close friends from when Miss Leaupepe was teaching Saint Josephs school. I am really looking foward for learning heaps and heaps with Mr. Slade.

Term 2 Reflection

In Term 2, my highlights were having the 100 day party because everyone brang in something that represents 100.
My other highlight for this term was having the 3 way conference with  Miss Leaupepe and my auntie, because when Miss Leaupepe was talking to my auntie about my report my auntie said that she was very proud of me at the end of the interview.

My lowlights for term 2 is singing practise because when we have to go into room 7 we just sit there and it is very hot and also there is not that much space to move around. Another lowlight for this term is Music because we do not have a lot of time to have a class band or play ukuleles, because alot of people are wasting time.

In Term 3 I’m looking forward to learning heaps with my teacher Miss Leaupepe and other students. Also I am looking forward to having a great start for Term 3.

Images of God In the N.T

Mark 14:36

“Father,” he prayed, “my father! All things are possible for you. Take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet not what I want but what you want.”

The image of God in this scripture is that God is like our Father that can do everything that is possible.

Alex Fala’s Visit :)

Alex Fala :) Slideshow: Monique’s trip to Auckland was created with TripAdvisor TripWow!

On a cold windy day after lunch time a visitor from LesMills named Alex came to talk to us about how he became successful in his job.

After lunch time Alex came into room6 to talk to us about his life adventure and his journeys, before Alex started introducing himself we started of with out school prayer.

When we finished the prayer Alex started introducing himself by telling us his about his culture. He told us he was from Samoa and his dad lives in a small village in Samoa. After he told us about his culture we asked him has anybody discouraged you and he said “not really!!. Another question we asked Alex was what sort of advice would you give a student when he/she ask to be like you, he’ll just tell you to follow your dreams and Never give up.

When everybody finished telling questions to Alex he gave a bag of prizes to Miss leaupepe to hand out to the class whoever has the most votes. I wish Alex would be able to visit room6 again and tell us more about his life and journey. Alex told room6 some of the best things about his adventure and his journey I wish he could come back again.!

Jonny Wartman Visit?

Make your own photo slideshow at Animoto.

“Yay!” I said as soon as Miss Leaupepe said that Jonny Wartman is coming over to Room6 to tell us how he became successful.

After lunch time Jonny Wartman came over to room6 and started introducing himself, but before he introduced himself we started of with the school prayer. After we sang our school prayer he started introducing himself to Room6.

Jonny Wartman said that when he was a little kid he was interested in graffiti, so he would sit in front of the tv and watch cartoons and he said after he watches the cartoons he would always go and draw pictures of the cartoon that he watched. He started telling us about how he became successful in his job. Jonny told us if you wish to be like him you just have to follow your dreams and never give up and try your best and believe in yourself.

Jonny Wartman took Room6 outside and he stuck a big canvas paper on the brick wall and asked Miss Leaupepe what should he draw, so he thought of it and he drew a nice tropical beach image. So while he was drawing the image he was telling us that we should not stay close to him while he is drawing because the chemicals in the spray are very strong. Jonny was drawing a very nice picture with a lot of colourful colours, while he was drawing the whole of Room7 came out of the class and watched with us too. Jonny Wartman really inspired me to do graffiti. I hope one day I will become a graffiti artist like him in the future.

After his picture Lose thanked him for coming to our school and telling us about his adventures and journey and how he became successful. Then everyone went to class and Dalaney stayed with Jonny Wartman and showed him his book of drawing and was talking with him while everyone was in class.

It was a beautiful day and exciting day for Jonny Wartman to come. I wish Jonny Wartman would be able to come and visit Saint Pius X school again and maybe he might be able to draw us a bigger picture next time.
